It’s peak foliage in Central Park, which means that fall is in full swing. This is the second installment in my three-part series of autumn beauty favorites, and I’m featuring the products that will help you achieve bouncy, voluminous hair in no time.
Shampoo + Conditioner Bar Duo from Nopalera ($52)
We’ve all heard of soap bars, but what about shampoo and conditioner? Nopalera’s innovative design makes it easy to take care of your scalp and hair, whether you’re at home or traveling. The bars are highly concentrated, so you need less product to achieve great results. For the cold days when you can’t bring yourself to wash your hair, this dry shampoo will keep you looking fresh. Magnesium carbonate acts like a sponge to absorb oil over time, and the Rootist’s ferment powder blend is packed with micronutrients to help keep your scalp and hair healthy.
An issue I have with other dry shampoos is that they leave a white residue, but I’ve never noticed that with this one. I love that the applicator is a brush, since it’s easy to tap into my roots without getting the powder everywhere.
Volume Up Booster Spray from OSiS+ ($24)
I’m always on the hunt for a good volumizing product that won’t leave my hair heavy or greasy. The OSiS+ spray is a flexible hold, so it looks natural and is easy to style. What’s most important to me is that it doesn’t feel or look like hairspray, but instead leaves a nice matte finish.
All you have to do is spritz it on your roots for all-day volume. It’s also super buildable, so you can use as much as you need, but a little definitely goes a long way.
