Some might love to pair this with a brown lip liner to pump up the 90s factor, but I prefer the more soft, casual look of the lipstick alone.
I tend to pat this lipstick onto the lips and put the excess on my cheeks for a French-style, natural flush. The beauty of a darker shade is that it draws attention, making me more likely to ditch the rest of my routine and let my skincare work its magic. So 90s also reads well as a sultry shade on a wide range of skin tones, especially as I’ve found it very buildable. The trend over the last few years toward huge, 30-shade makeup palettes has been fun, but I’m in the mood for simpler look right now.
