AI-Powered Note-taking, Brainstorming, Scheduling, and More

I’m feeling a lot more organized and spending less time at my computer since I’ve been using iFlytek’s AINOTE Air 2 to jot down ideas, schedule tasks (with pop-up reminders!), and record meetings, scan documents, schedule appointments, and transform my handwritten notes into text.

This matte paper-like tablet with handwriting recognition, voice-to-text capabilities, and real-time meeting transcription is a thoughtfully designed, hybrid note-taking device well-suited for the needs of students, creatives, entrepreneurs, and managers.

The Air 2 User Experience

Included with the AINOTE Air 2, is a charging cable and an electromagnetic pen (no charging required) which conveniently sticks to the side of the tablet. Since I usually misplace pens, that’s a huge bonus. When I use the electronic pen to write, the tactile experience is similar to writing on paper.

Users can select from different smart pen shapes and stroke thicknesses. Ditto for the size of the eraser. The smart pen isn’t just for writing. For example, you can draw a circle around a particular word or phrase to add it to your to-do list, or draw a triangle around several words to create a title. You can ask AI to search a particular word or phrase by drawing a lasso around it.

How do I use AINOTE Air 2? I mainly use Air 2 for note-taking during interviews and meetings and handwriting ideas when I am brainstorming and outlining content for a writing project. What’s cool about this digital tablet is that it can mix my handwritten notes with voice-to-text transcriptions.

When I use the audio feature to record meetings, it transcribes speech into text in real time. Much like the closed caption feature on videos and television, Air2 comes close, but is not always 100 percent correct in recognizing words.  That’s not a huge problem because I utilize context to correct any usage or spelling errors in translation.

This Air 2 digital notebook has eReader capabilities and a bookshelf  prefilled with American classics such as the Great Gatsby ( a personal favorite ). One can import PDF, EPUB, MOBI, TXT and AZW files by connecting the AINOTE Air2 to a computer to transfer eBooks to the Bookshelf folder.

Compact and lightweight Air 2 excels in its niche category as an AI-powered productivity tool that one can take to the library, to the office, the coffee shop and just about anywhere. Scanning a document is as easy as snapping a photograph, which is definitely quicker than using my scanner/printer.

Air 2 users can upgrade to WPS Pro for $2.99 a month to perform PDF edits, add signatures to PDFs, export large images, and  other tasks.

The AINote Air 2 digital tablet serves as an excellent option for anyone seeking a tablet with a focus on note-taking and scheduling. Air 2 hasn’t replaced my computer but I need to use it a lot less lately.
