New York Cider Week is going full speed ahead reviving the populace’s adoration for fall’s most-loved beverage. Food Karma Project, producer of Rib King NYC, is celebrating the season with the best ciders at CiderFeast™ NYC. Food Karma Projects brings award-winning chefs, artisans and carefully curated restaurants together at their grass-roots style events including Brisket King® NYC, Rib King NYC™, Pig Island NYC™, Bowl of ‘Zole™, and CiderFeast™.
Started back in 2014, CiderFeast™ was first organized by Jimmy Carbone, an NYC-based restaurateur and the owner of the former beloved East Village bar, Jimmy’s No. 43. After having such a positive experience with the first year, Jimmy decided to keep it going. This October, CiderFeast will be running for its 10th year. In addition to producing events, Jimmy is also a radio host of Beer Sessions Radio at HRN, a book co-author of the I like Pig cookbook, a member of the East Village Independent Merchants Association and has served on board for Slow Food NYC, Taste of Tribeca, and the FCAC Advisory Board.
This year’s CiderFeast™ will be taking place in Industry City, Brooklyn on Saturday, October 5, 2024, rain or shine. Attendees will be able to enjoy an all-inclusive, all-you-can-drink cider experience showcasing more than twenty cider producers from the New York State and surrounding region. Represented cideries include Angry Orchard Cider House, Brooklyn Cider House, Bucktail Cider, Original Sin Cider, Romilly Cidre, Sauvage Beverages and Vermont Cider Co.
CiderFeast™ will also be hosting an assortment of edible options with Cabot Creamery Grilled Cheese, Dakota Hams’ 24-month-aged Kentucky Ham, paella and Parés Baltà wine tasting by Chef Rafa de la Rosa, cider donuts from Stone Ridge Orchards and more.
