Rossario George To Dominate East Coast in 2025

Dean Scumaci

Designer Tony Vincente wants to make the move from the Pacific Northwest to the East Coast with his fab Rossario George fashion and beauty line in tow. The Rossario George line is dominating e-commerce not only in the Seattle area but worldwide. Vincente’s wish is to bring the Rossario George brand to New York City area. The passion and love Vincente has for Rossario George is undeniable.

Launched seven years ago by Vincente, Rossario George leaves an indelible mark in the fashion industry thus far. I interviewed the designer pre pandemic and now the line is ready to shine, not only with its fashion apparel for men and women, but make up, skin care, and newest addition: jewelry.

The public is craving new brick-and-mortar designers and Rossario George is it with its bright line and now newest addition to the brand, Miele skin care.

I chatted it up with Vincente about the RG brand and how it will conquer the east coast, how the company is blooming, and what is next for the fashionista and the brand known as Rossario George.

Why take the brand and move to the east coast?

I want to be closer to family and I think there is more opportunity in New York City. I try to promote and lift anyone up, especially those who I work with. My goal is world domination with the Rossario George brand and would like to leave a legacy that continues on my path for this planet and for others. The Washington State area is challenging for that.

I am even looking at retail space in New York City. Retail is very scary right now, but always wanted a brick and mortar space for Rossario George. I want the experience for people to try on and test things out.

It was smart to start as an e-commerce company during the pandemic. This past year has been the most profitable in history of our business.

How’s the transition been from fashion to beauty?

I look at it holistically as a lifestyle brand. We are not just fashion. When I first started the brand, I wanted to make a life so beautiful from one brand – and that’s what we are doing.

Along with the clothing, I wanted to make sure all the colors we use are consistent. I developed lipsticks that match the red of the first high heel that I did and then match the coloration of the suits that we created. It was a constant progression. Then, we launched RG Beauty. Just this year we launched our skin care line Miele, which is Italian for honey.

Last year we came out with the RG Gold Honey Collection. I love the identity of the bee and honey. The beauty of the honeycomb is a beautiful thing. I decided to make that our signature pattern and something to make us something to stand out as a brand. I take what I feel from my life and present to yours and that makes me feel happy and fulfilled.

How did Rossario George survive the pandemic?

I wanted my workers to feel comfortable. We are one of the very few companies not impacted at all. We knew we were going to get out of the pandemic eventually. Then, when other designers were losing the stores, I felt awful. I was blessed though to stay put as e-commerce and not push to brick-and-mortar at that moment.

Where do you outsource your fabrics from?

It all depends. I moved everything to full couture. All our couture gowns are made from Italian silks now. I consider the Honey Collection ready to wear—it’s all high-end fabrics from Italy to China to Pakistan. I like looking at the world as a huge bazaar. Every country has something to offer. We want to introduce the world to each other. Being visible in these countries is paramount to us.

“Modern elegance with a fearless sense of style.” Is that still your motto?

That is one of our mottos. We are always evolving. I like things to be modern and current I do not want us to become stale. I want us to be beyond trend. My goal is to bring the best at all times. That is what the brand is.

What new trends will we see in 2025?

What I hope to see going is baggy clothes. I want to see fitted clothing and bright colors return to the mix, bold colors and shiny to make a comeback, and I personally like to bring a little light to the dark.

What was the last fashion app you downloaded?

Procreate. You can do all your fashion designs all online. I love designing with Procreate. I can do all the sketches I do with my stylus.

Any last thoughts?

We will be branching out to jewelry. We are ready to launch our 2024 Holiday Gift Guide tomorrow. On there we have accessories, a new line of shoes, and jewelry.
